Local Server
01/04/04 at 20:00:18

I have downloaded the last version of eAuction to do some testing.  I have installed it on a test server that I always use.  When I try to register a user I get the message, “You are on your local server so this is just for testing.”  The information on the user etc is shown on the rest of the page.

I guess I’m tired or something as I have not been able to see why this is happening.  I have had others test and they get the same message.  I’ll keep looking but if you could save me some time.

Thanks   Undecided
Jim

I had the same problem too, apparently, it's in config161.pl, under running under real webserver, 0 or 1, just switch it to 1.

The default is as below:

# Set this from 0 to 1 if the script is running with a real Web-Server
   $config{'web_server'}      = 0;
