Post/Reopst Items

After an item has closed and the user is offered the "repost option, shouldn't the form display that particular items info?

I looked at the script and from what I can tell, this is what is supposed to happen... but when I elect to repost an item (test item to check function), the "Post New Item" form is displayed instead???

I could not find a "Repost Item" form nor am I sure quite how to do so ... any suggs?

Lost and confused ???

I don't understand what the problem is.
Please, become a little more specific.

Hello "D"

Sorry, I know that my decription of the so-called problem is confusing, but that's the best I can explain it. But  I'll try again...

When a (registered user) receives an e-mail that his/her item has NOT sold, he/she has the option to "repost" Right?

So, If he/she clicks on the link ("My Auction Center") in the notification e-mail and then chooses "My Closed Items".

Then, while viewing closed items, clicks on the "You may repost......." - Should not the information e.g. title, decscription etc. data of the selected item already be in the form when it's displayed?

From the look of the script, this "data" should be waiting there
in the form because I noticed strings which seem to be designed to fetch data about the item for parsing to the (repost item) form - but that's not happing in my case.

Instead, all that is displayed is the "Post New Item" form - Should not the form heading say/be  "Repost Item"?

With the exception of any "images" uploaded, the user should not have to try and remember what the items details were or have to use the browser back button to see the item to be reposted's details - right?

At least that's the way I think it's should work. But on my auction, it dosen't - If elect to ( "You may repost this item") repost a closed item, no data about that item appears in the displayed form.

If you e-mail me, I'll give you my "test" userID and password so you can see what I mean first hand.

Thanks "D"
