thank you for your reply. But I still did not solve the problem.
May be you visit my site Multimedia file viewing and clickable links are available for registered members only!!  You need to Login or Register!!
en try to add an item with an image.  The files eAuction.pl and eConfig161.pl on my site are the original files I downloaded.
The password and username are both tester

Greetings

My image uploaded fine. Multimedia file viewing and clickable links are available for registered members only!!  You need to Login or Register!!
. But my image isn't in the cgi-bin. How you using the full path in the image box when you list an item? I also switched from using eAucion161 to eAuction162. I was able to post the item okay on your site. Do you need me to try something else for you? Undecided

You might want to make a directory under your root on your server called eAuction161 and then create a sub directory called auction_pics, ex: Multimedia file viewing and clickable links are available for registered members only!!  You need to Login or Register!!
change both the directory and sub-directory to chmod 755 and upload your images to the sub-directory using binary mode, change the image file to chmod 777. When you post an item use the whole path to the image ex: Multimedia file viewing and clickable links are available for registered members only!!  You need to Login or Register!!
might work...worked for me. Good Luck
