Hi Dieter

Thank you for your reply... We do appreciate you taking the time to support a free producy for free. This is for charity and I am doing it for free too. I'm not a developer but learning.

I managed to get it to read the csv file by making a autopost folder and and autopost.dat file in it.
here is an example of the file:

admin|password
CATEGORY|TITLE|RESERVE|INC|DESC|IMAGE0|START_DAYS|START_HOUR|START_MIN|START_SEC
|DAYS|HOUR|MIN|SEC|BID|BUY_IT
Misc|HP Compaq 5130|1.00|1.00|Serial CZC3361JYN. Broken. No HDD NO Ram. Please note that the image displayed is not the exact product but represents it. The equipment is sold as is. NO RETURNS. NO SUPPORT. ERRORS AND OMISSIONS EXCEPTED.|12032007108.jpg|0|10|00|00|4|12|00|00|10.00|50.00

I have ironed out the bugs mostly but am having an issue with the last value the buy_it price. for some reasone is is not seeing the value as valid!

this is the error i get:

Use of uninitialized value in pattern match (m//) at C:\Auctionsite\eAuction161\eAuction.pl line 4437.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Error
You must enter a valid Buy-It price

Could you provide any assistance? It would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

James
