uploading problem
03/04/06 at 16:52:29

I made a directory named eAuction161 like in the manual. Everything goes right. But when I try to upload the scripts the server gives an transfer error, when I upload the gif files everything goes right.DO you have any solutions for this. And is there a difference between pl extensions and cgi extensions because my server (vuurwerk.nl) says that i can make a directory anywhere with a cgi script it can locate it everywhere.
Help needed.

Sorry, but I don't know the rules of your server.
But if your server doesn't allow the use of cgi scripts - you can't use cgi scripts.
Do you have a cgi-bin directory?

i uploaded the script but it looks like it doesn't work I get an empty screen, I tried to run the dump.pl file but I get an internal server error, so I'm out of clues perhaps do you have a solution? It looks like the server doesn't have an real cgi-bin directory. But only the possibility to put anywhere a cgi file which will work always. Perhaps I've to change the name?
