Category Item Posted Twice
12/11/05 at 15:44:03

I'm not sure what's happening here, but when I click on a category - in this case Audio Video - it yields a duplicate listing for the 2 items I've test loaded. A double post?...or is it supposed to do this?...I notice one set does not include the 'buy now' text. Maybe I'd understand the logic if there were 20 items?

(note - this url is time sensitive, as the items and location may change/expire)

Also, with the 1.6.1 version I received 'auction ended' notices for all the test items that were setup - thus, I knew my e-mail notification was functioning properly. With 1.6.2x the test items just disappeared when the auction ended. Do I need to locate some e-mail code to make these direct to my address? Or does it just work differently in this version?

(finally, my Hotscript review was 'approved'...I'm the only one who loves it?... Undecided   - anyway, more hot peppers for Dieter!)

Sorry, but I'm not able to reproduce this behavior.

The function 'email notification' should work in the same way as it works with v1.6.1.x
Please, login as a user, start two or three test-items and let me know what happens.

For the e-mail notice, I received my own closing e-mail successfully. Maybe I changed a dat file in 1.6.1 when I was messing around, so the closures went to my e-mail address instead of the default address you had in the test setup.  All I know is I got like 100 e-mails in my in-box when the test auctions closed  Roll Eyes

As for the duplicate item listing in 1.6.2x, following here is a screenshot to that which I'm referring:
