Add More Field to Post New Item

Anybody can help me,show me step by step to add more field in Post New Item form page.Currently only have 3 field title,description and category.
I want to add some drop down field and text box.Anyone please.

Hi,
Take alook at the following thread that covers just the topic you request. It is located in "General Discussion > Information Exchange"

The tutorial is not complete but perhaps there is enough there for you to complete it. If you do, please let me and all the others know.
