Control of Auction Start/Stop Time & Previewin
06/20/05 at 20:25:01

Is there currently any way to specify the start and stop time of the auction in less than  full, 24 hour day increments?

Example: start on July 2 at 3 PM
End: on July 7 at noon.

Regards,

mars/mars22

PS: I solved the auction previewing problem. The drawback is that the items are not viewable until the auction starts. But by removing the submit button from the Bid Posting form (until the auction actually begins) and starting the auction at once, the spirit of the strategy is maintained if the form is not.

That's exactly the way how it works already.

How would you enter that example in the "Post A New Item" form, assuming you are posting the item at 11:00 AM on July 1? The auction Start-up  time would be 1 day and 4 hours and the Deadline 4 days and 21 hours. Have I missed  something regarding the function(s), if any, ofthe Server-Time boxes?

From my experience leaving the Start-up at 0 and the Deadline at .3 (or about 8 hours) with $config{'time_delay'}      = 2; results in the auction being immediately closed.

Thank you.
