Sorry if I missed this, but maybe someone else did too, so probably best to ask here...

Was there a site or forum page anywhere to subscribe to new releases (and patches, etc.)?

Just thought of something.  Shocked

It isn't possible to subscribe to entire forums like 'new', but if announcements, or summaries of them were all posted to one (pinned) thread, anyone who wanted to be told about updates and the like could just subscribe to this thread. (I actually think I saw this on some other s/w forums).
