Problem when bidding above reserve price

If a bidder bids there maximum price they are willing to pay using the proxy bid, and the reserve price on the auction is below that, why doesn't the script show that the reseve price has been met and use the Reserve Price + Bid Incriment as the Lowest New Bid?  

Currently, the only way to win a reserve auction is if you bid above the reserve and another bidder bids above the reserve also which bumps up the Lowest New Bid.

Is there some way to change this??

That's the way an auction works; proxy bidding is just a 'hidden' max. bid!
But you are free to change the code ...  Smiley

You are probably right.  Now that I think about it, eB@y is this way also.
