Is there an idiots guide to setting up the script? I'm not a programmer, I can get scripts working eventually but all this stuff does not come natually, since this is based on Everyauction would a help file from that help or is this so totally different?

It's things like paths and absolute paths that get me, comes from using a mac I suppose.

What I have seen so far looks good. The stuff coming up with 1.6.2 looks very interesting, look forward to its launch.

Actually the help comments inside the files eAuction.pl and eConfig161.pl are quite elaborate. With minimal experience, a user can install and to a good degree modify the functionality of the script.

As for EveryAuction I came across that script yesterday, but also stumbled upon eAuction overnight and realized that eAuction was a better and far more developed solution than EveryAution's 1.53 version. Within a matter of hours of first laying my hands on the script I have my auction ready to go. So far it's been great.

Hi LM,

Just persevere, as Alex said it is a very well commented script, if you just take your time it should be no problem.
