HTMLarea

I'm trying to add the 'HTMLarea' to the new item form, but I only want the script loading when the form action = new.

I've created a second header sub in eConfig161.pl

sub disp_header    # (Standard display)

sub disp_header1  # (Option with HTMLarea)

In header1 I've added the required java script in both the head and body sections.

Is this the right way to go.?  ???  If it is, then I need to call the header 1 sub only when the form action = new. Will an if statement help, or am I running down the wrong road. ? Undecided

Any thoughts/help would be appreciated.

You can add the JavaScript-Code to the content of sub disp_header (there is no need to create another sub); but you have to insert the JavaScript functions to the HTML content of sub new.
