Alert from Auction
02/26/04 at 21:20:45

Hi, I received this Alert mail from my script, can anyone explain why it was generated.
Alert mail reads

           close_items: Modification of non-creatable array value attempted, subscript -1 at eAuction.pl line 3192.

Line 3192 is in the sub close_items and reads as

                        ) = @{read_item_file($cat, $item)};

Thanks
koi_carp

That means ...
You are trying to read an empty item-file.

Check your item files for errors.

But don't be worry about that ...
the script is working and will not chrash because of this error.
There is a log-file for each error and there is this 'allert email' - so the program still works but the admin is informed about each error.
Isn't that nice  Wink
