Dieter,

I have been comparing the new release to what I have been using. The only file I can find with Version: eA-1.6.2.010
Last update: 10/28/2005
is eAuction.pl. I can see where you have made changes in and relating to the Use-Section. I guess I am a little cautious and curious about the other files that I have looked at which appear to be earlier versions than what I am currently using. For example, in the eAoutput.pl fie I am currently using, it says:
#eAoutput.pl
# Date: 11/03/2003
# Version: eA-1.6.2.06
# Last update: 01/21/2004
and in the version I downloaded yesterday it says
# eAoutput.pl
# Date: 10/02/2003
# Version: eA-1.6.2.01
# Last update: 10/02/2003

Yes, you are right ... I must get accustomed to not treating the version numbers of the files so sloppily.

I changed (at least) the following files:
- eAuction.pl
- eAconfig.pl
- eAsetup.pl
- eAmethods.pl
- eAproc_bid.pl

I changed the contents of some prog. folders

I added (at least)
- eAcron_fake.pl

Thank you for your reply! I was hoping that the new beta version 1.6.2 might be available for download to look at. The demo of the 1.6.1 looks good, but I was hoping to test the beta of the new version before it's released. However, it looks like the released version is free but a donation is requested to get the beta version of the new one. I would think you'd do better if you charged for the released version and offered the unofficial beta version for free for testing, with the knowledge that it may not be the final product. Thank you for the opportunity to purchase it but I think I might wait until it's relleaased and some of the more experienced folks have a chance to wrok with it. I will keep checking back to see how it's going. Thank you for your reply!

I wanted to check back to see if you were any closer to releasing the 1.6.2 version. Do you have any expected date when you might have it ready to release? Thank you.
