I think I donated to this script to late. Is there any support for eAuction 162? I have looked all over this forum and can't seem to find any support for the right configuration of setup.pl. Is there anyone that can help and/or point me in the right direction? :'(

Hi Dieter,

First, let me say, I love the script. I solved most of the problems, but I don't know how to have people go right to paypal when they win the bid or meet the reserve. Also, I can't figure out how to stop people from posting items to sell. I know there is no admin capabilities at this time to lock ppl out, but is there other way to get around this? I will gladly donate more if I can get this thing working for what I need. My link is http://bragfavors.com/eAuction162/eAuction.pl. Any info would be helpful. Thank you.

Hi Lucy,

in order to prevent people from posting items, do this:
- open the script eAget_new_item.pl
- go to the subroutine get_new_item
- add the following code as the very first line

(!$form{'ALIAS'} or !$form{'PASSWORD'})
? oops('This function has been switched off by the administrator.')
: ($form{'ALIAS'} ne 'YourAlias' and $form{'YourPassword'} ne 'test')
&& oops('This function has been switched off by the administrator.');

WOW, that worked great. But, I'm the administrator and need to post items. Since there is no admin capabilities, how do I post new items? :-?

I'm doing a fundraiser for a girl who had to have many major surgeries and can't pay for medical costs, this is the reason for the auction. Some people want to pay cash and have the item delivered and some want to pay with paypal. I know when I was able to post an item I could select all three. So when the bidder wins the bid or meets reserve is there a way to have them select cash, deliver or paypal? ;)

Ich mache eine Spendenaktion für ein Mädchen, das zu vielen wichtigen Operationen haben und kann nicht für Arztkosten bezahlen musste, ist dies der Grund für die Auktion. Manche Menschen wollen bar bezahlen und haben die Artikel geliefert und einige wollen mit paypal bezahlen. Ich weiß, wenn ich in der Lage, ein Element I alle drei auswählen konnten Beitrag wurde. Also, wenn der Bieter den Zuschlag erhält oder meets behalten gibt es eine Möglichkeit zu haben, sie wählen Bargeld, liefern oder paypal? ;)
