Hi - Can anyne help withmy install? Getting the usual 500 internal server error.

I have an original version of everyauction running fine on the server and used the same base directory settings and other general stuff but it still won`t run. After looking in my error log it says `premature ending of script?

I`ve checked and rechecked permissions and the usual suspects but nothing! Rapidly losing my hair.

I would post the script but it won`t let me

Heres my settings

Did you upload the files by using ASCII mode?

Yes uploaded correctly and just double checked.

This one has got me stumped - I`m really looking forward to having all those lovely new features.

If all else fails I delete everything off the server and start again, drastic I know but it might help.

Goode idea ... :)
delete it form your server and upload a fresh copy that contains noch edited lines.

First of all thanks for the quick replies :)

I deleted everything off my server including the current running scripts of everyauction.

Re-uploaded eAuction files as per instructions without changing anything and now I get this :-

Error

Permission denied

YOUR SET UP IS NOT CORRECT

No such file or directory

Now I think this is a GOOD thing as at least it is now trying to execute the script!

Should I go ahead and change some of the settings in the Config file and see what happens?

SUCCESS!! ;D

Changed the Base path settings and it`s up and running - Just a few hundred hours of customising to go now.
