Title: Amount of Bid
Post by WGriffin on 02/03/08 at 03:46:33

I got eAuction up and running. Quite easy to do. I have only one issue at this time. When a bid is made why doesn't the max show up. Example. I post an item, no reserve, and a bid increment of $1. If someone makes a bid for $10 for the item it shows up as $1 as the highest bid. If someone else bids $2 it says that they have not bid high enough, which make sense. What does it not show $10 as the highest bid. Is there a setting that I am missing.

In this case, the Bid History shows:
Bidder1 $1.00
Bidder2 $2.00
Bidder1 $3.00

The ProxyBid ($10.00) is a hidden bid.

P.S. Are you sure that we talk about v1.6.2 (beta)?

The version I have is 1.6.1.64

Is there a way that a bidder can see the Proxy bid?

Sorry, but there is no way to show it.
It would be against the sense of 'Proxy Bid' because it is a hidden bid which contains the max. amount a bidder is ready to pay in order to get the item.
