BLAST #1 500 Internal error. I understand it is a misconfiguration on the CGI script. But it also has a to do with the perl command calling for it. I am very interested in getting this software up and running. BLAST #2 I installed the predecessor of your 1.6.1.x Which was done by Matt. I had it up and running in 10 min. It is still running as we speak. I what could be the issue here. I am running Apache 2.2 the CGI script is working correctly or the other site would not be running correct. Could you share your thoughts on this. Thank you.

Ok I have figured it out. If you upload to a local server it does not interpert the perl correctly.
But if you take the file that you upload open in notepad and click on file the click save as. Bottom of the dialog box change encoding from UTF-8 to ANSI. That should would work for the installation 500 internal server errors.
