Title: Hacker Alert?
Post by tmk12v on 06/04/06 at 23:08:21

I just recieved a hacker alert email from my auction? Should I be worried??? Here is what it says.

Date: Sun Jun  4 12:29:09 2006
(1) Form has been hacked by IP: 72.30.128.11
User: N/A
Content: usercenterâ‘©=1

What does it mean?

Thanks, Tom

Don't worry - it's just the Yahoo-Spider (see: http://www.spidertrack.org/index.php)
But I don't know what the spider tries to add to the URL.

Thanks for the info. I guess I should unblock this from my firewall than :-)

When viewing the code for the auction I noticed there are two numbers to report when an attack is made?

(1) and (2). What do they each refer to?

Thanks, Tom

(1) indicates that the $event key is not valid (not existing)
(2) indicates that the $event key contains special characters
