Quote:
From the OmniSecure docu
#########################

Advanced

Process Server Side Include

If checked, SSI macros are parsed for test/x-server-parsed-html file types. These are .shtml files by default.
Enable Perl CGI Support

If checked, standard CGI scripts ending in .pl are launched through a Perl interpreter.

But you run a win system.
Why don't you use the (build in) IIS?

built in?, i just searched for that program and found its called internet information server or something, i tryed to download it but it wouldnt let me :( i heard if i add:
[NonWindowsApp]
CommandEnvSize=8192
to my system.ini

IIS is a part of winNT, win2k, win3k, winxp
PWS (the small IIS) is a contain of the win95 CD, the MS-Office CD, the MS-Frontpage CD  and it is dowloadable from the MS-Website.

On the other hand ...
Apache (for win) should be a great idea too  ;)

im now just gettin a blank screen :D, after installing sambar :D

getting somewhere now hopefully, slooowwllyy but surely :D

also, i hope you dont mind me asking....
im building this site for to raise money for a big event in our school and i was hoping that someone could give me an addon to get the auction to request money for listing items on the site, that will include like a normal listing will be only like 20p then for extras it costs more etc, then we are going to open a special paypal account for the money and once the event it getting set up we can get the money out.

i will be making no profit watsoever on this so please do no instantly judge me and say that im evil for trying to make money because i am not, i would donate to you deiter but i have no paypal money myself lol
i might be getting some money in soon so ill send you some to keep this project alive :D

thanks

Sambar is a real good server software too ...
but you 'have' to read the instructions if you want to setup a webserver.

but a webserver isn't 'kinda stuff'

I can't setup your (local) server-sofware, that's up to you - sorry.

Run a small perl script like this:

Code:
#!/usr/bin/perl
use CGI qw/:standard/;

print header,
 start_html,
 h2("Parameter:"), CGI::as_string(),
 h2("Environment:"),
 (map { p("$_ => $ENV{$_}") } sort keys %ENV),
 end_html;

and let me know what happen

Yes - I see ...
your server doesn't accept cgi scripts.
