Title: Receiving Directory Error. Post by Dizmatic on 02/09/05 at 15:24:26 Error /home/arnett/domains/arnettame.org/eAuction161/userreg/prereg No such file or directory I don't see this directory. I have installed the two .pl scripts to the cgi-bin and chmod them 755. What else do I need to do? |
Title: Re: Receiving Directory Error. Post by poxy on 02/09/05 at 16:28:16 The script will not create the directories for you. Type mkdir -p /home/arnett/domains/arnettame.org/eAuction161/userreg/prereg The -p will create all the necessary directories previous to prereg, if required. The error message is there for a reason, and it is to be used for debugging purposes. |
Title: Re: Receiving Directory Error. Post by Dizmatic on 02/09/05 at 17:01:29 Thanks, I did figure that out now I get a regfile error when creating a user and doing a rating. What file am I missing. |
Title: Re: Receiving Directory Error. Post by poxy on 02/09/05 at 17:30:57 I've never used the rating system...but is there more to that error message? I'm sure Dieter will know the answer right away when he comes around. |
Title: Re: Receiving Directory Error. Post by Dizmatic on 02/09/05 at 17:40:48 Actually I don't really need it. Is there a way to disable it? Also is there a way to hide the Post items since I am only using it for my items and not for others to post? Thanks, I appreciate your time. |
Title: Re: Receiving Directory Error. Post by poxy on 02/09/05 at 18:32:16 I have made these and many, many other changes to the program, but it is too customized to be (too) useful to anybody else. It's specialized to sell tickets, and has some rudimentary extra administration functions, which are incomplete. It also uses stateful login, which is 80% complete and working, but with all the other changes I made, it's really hard to extract just that. |

Register the first user, and the directory is created :) |

Rating is only possible if an item has been sold. |
