Title: Confirmation email
Post by chicoletto on 11/28/04 at 02:23:00

Hi Dieter,

I installed the script and everything is working except the confirmation email with the password that the new user should get.

Here is what I put :

  $config{'get_mail'}            = 0; # Set this from 1 to 0 if you want to use your own setting
  $config{'mailprog'}            = '/usr/sbin/sendmail'; # no additional options please

# or Configure your MAIL HOST (SMTP)
   #$config{'mailhost'}      = 'mail.stampworld.biz';

# Set this from 0 to 1 if the script is running with a real Web-Server
   $config{'web_server'}      = 1;

If I choose the option for the carbon copy, I get it but not the new registrated person !

What do I do wrong ?

Are you sure that user's eMail address is correct?

I tried with 2 of my email addresses and no one came.
But the copy carbon arrived. Thats the weirdest thing.
Any suggestions ?

I will test it ...
Done
Your script at http://www.darold.ca is working fine.
But the server seems to be very slow ...

This website is just a test, the problem I have is on the real website www.stampworld.biz .
I noticed that this server is down again !!!!
I'm gonna try again when the server will be up again and let you know.
Thanks for your help Dieter.
