Title: Netscape problems
Post by maxmaxwell on 10/06/04 at 08:16:15

I discovered after checking my test site in Netscape 4.6 that some small things had to be changed.

#1) In the "navbar" section; Netscape doesn't recognize the "space" in the searchstring. i.e "Hot Items" text string.

You have to change it to "Hot%20Items" or "Hot_Items" to make Netscape use it. Otherwise you get a script error form Netscape.

That's the only instance where the search is used but you have to change the 5 entries in the navbar area AND in the text string area at beginning of file(all 5)

Netscape is also very unforgiving (like IE) and some other small font thingys need to be adjusted. I have tried to do my best to accomodate both browsers. Oh, well!
