Title: Ratingfile: Error
Post by Busdrums on 08/06/04 at 19:22:09

After setting this up, signing up as a member, listing an auction, I decided to click to see my "O" feedback and got this error:

Error
Ratingfile: Newuser
could not be opened

Any ideas?
Is the ratingfile not created until someone leaves feedback?

This message will disappear as soon as you become a 'real' user.

The 'test' function has been implemented in order to display any things after the installation of the script - that's all  - I hope so :)

Edit: the next version will be a very much better thing because the current version is only a clean-up (and rewrite) of Matt Hahnfeld's code.
Yes  ;)  I added a lot of functions ...

Hello Dieter,

I didn't use the "test" function of the script. I setup an actual user and an actual auction.

I seem to be having quite a few issues with the script and am wondering if Notepad causes changes to the scripts that causes errors once uploaded, or if it's a server issue.

I am going to switch editors and see if that helps.

I'm getting the same error. Do I need to create a folder somewhere and give it a 777 permission?
Thanks

Let us wait for an answer of Dieter. Think he isnīt online at the moment, should be back in about a week, as much as I know...

No - the script will create the rating-file as soon as an item has been sold
